Emperor Aaron I Abdicates
Aaron I, who has been the only Emperor of Sprinske since the nation’s creation has today announced his abdication due to numerous issues mainly concerning the Kolniaric War. He has been succeeded by Emperor Blair I of Sprinske, who successfully made peace with the Second Federal Republic of Free Scotland and formed an alliance only a day after the nations were at war.
This abdication proves to be a historic event. Never before has a Sprinske leader voluntarily given up power. Here is the Emperor Emeritus’ statement on his abdication:
@everyone As some of you will know, the Sprinske Empire has 3 calendars. We use the Gregorian Calendar like a lot of other places, but we also have two of our own
The Sprinske Calendar is the more boring but simple of the two, it is 65 years behind the Gregorian calendar exactly. Currently, the year in the Sprinske Calendar is 1958. There was really no cultural significance to making this, I just wanted to make it the 50s again lol.
“The other one is the much more culturally significant one: the Revolution Calendar. This calendar has been used since the Sprinske Revolution on 30 October 2020 and the creation of the Sprinske Empire. It is based on the Japanese calendar, giving names to eras that correspond to the reign of an Emperor. The first era of this calendar, the Revolution Era corresponds to my reign as Emperor, and has covered many moments of this nation’s history, the Revolution Era began with Revolution 1, which was from 30 October 2020 to 29 October 2021, and during this time, our nation gained its independence along with the Imperial Republic of Donkrea, then fought against a group of communist rebels almost every day until May 2021. We had a brief period of peace, before the Sprinske Civil War began in August, and it split the nation in two. This war carried on into Revolution 2, which was from 30 October 2021 to 29 October 2022, and came to an end in August 2022. There was also Sprinske’s entry into the Micronational community in July and the formation of the Discord server. Sprinske developed rapidly after that, and made a lot of allies in the months that followed. We then had to fight against the BDA terrorist group and began the Second Micronational War on Terror, which also led to more alliances with other nations that supported us. Revolution 3 began on 30 October 2022, and we had a celebration march to mark 2 great years of history, but this year was much worse in terms of conflict. Revolution 3 had a bad beginning with the Seitnamic War. Then there was the Kolniari Cold War and eventually the Kolniaric War. This period significantly damaged our great nation, and it was then I knew that it was time to go. And just like the Revolution Era, we begin the second era of the Revolution Calendar, the Dairthas Era, meaning ‘Era of Peace’ in the Sprinske language, which will correspond to the reign of Emperor Blair I of Sprinske.
I wish the new Emperor all the best for this new era, Viva Sprinske!”
Emperor Blair I then officially took the throne by publishing the following statement to the people of Sprinske:

With the nation by my side, I declare that I will rule the nation to the best of my ability. Long live the Sprinske Empire and long may our flag fly.)

Revolution Day
Today, the 30th of October 2022, the Sprinske Empire officially celebrates its second anniversary. The nation was founded on 30 October 2020 due to the Sprinske Revolution, a major revolt that overthrew the Sprinske Communist Republic and split it into the Sprinske Empire and the Imperial Republic of Donkrea, the latter of which wasn’t founded until the next day when the Prime Minister was appointed.
This is the first time that we celebrate Revolution Day in peacetime, as the original revolution day was of course during the Sprinske Revolution, but on 30 October 2021, our first anniversary, we were not in the right position to celebrate the occasion as we were in the middle of the Sprinske Civil War. As the date falls on a Sunday, we will be holding all celebrations on Monday where there will be a party in Gorbachevgrad.
After two successful years, we have learned that Sprinske can last the test of time, through the GCU’s attacks from November 2020 to May 2021, then the Sprinske Civil War from August 2021 to August 2022, then the SMWT from August to October 2022, the country has remained, so here’s to many more years to come!

SMWT Ends: Sprinske congratulates Kaetania and Gamerland
Earlier today, it was announced by Kaetania that the Second Micronational War on Terror has ended following the Treaty of Slivuna, which has been signed by the leaders of Slivuna, Kaetania, Gamerland and Arazania. Slivuna was the last target in the war, as the BDA surrendered on 5 September, followed by ValeVRG’s annexation of PanterBlue earlier today. ValeVRG withdrew from the war only hours before it ended. A statement from Emperor Aaron I reads:
“Today, we received word that the Second Micronational War on Terror has come to an end. The Sprinske Empire withdrew from the war two days before it ended after a vote, but we congratulate our allies, Kaetania and Gamerland for winning their war against Slivuna. We would also like to congratulate the citizens of Arazania who struck a blow to Slivuna during the battle and caused fighting between Slivuna’s army. This victory in the war comes just weeks before Revolution Day on 30 October 2022, which will mark the beginning of the year ‘Revolution 3’ on the Sprinske Calendar, and with this victory just before the celebration, we will have more to celebrate on that day.”
later, the Emperor also thanked the other nations who fought in the war and those who supported it.

Great Kolniaric War Scandal
Recently, on 21 September 2022, Sprinske and Alba Nuadh declared war on the Mafia Republic following a report from the Sprinske Intelligence Agency that they were planning to crash the Sprinske Delta via hyperinflation. The Mafia Republic did not know of the war until the next day, and immediately began talks with Emperor Aaron I. It was then discovered that the agent who told Emperor Aaron I about the plan was lying, he had a personal dislike of the Mafia Republic’s leader and wanted to cause some trouble in that country, and his idea was that starting a major war would be a good way to eradicate the country entirely. Both sides signed the Treaty of Meli to officially end the war, but the Mafia Republic said that they would only sign the treaty if the Sprinske Empire removed its military leader and appointed a new one. Emperor Aaron I agreed as the leader of the army had not been properly doing his job, and the war officially ended.
“What we have is an issue of national security within our own borders, not an issue on the international stage. We will conduct a full investigation alongside the Mafia Republic to find out more about the scandal that led to this war that neither side wants. In the immediate aftermath of this, our aim is to repair relations with the Mafia Republic, which has worked well so far. Appropriate action will be taken to insure that such a scandal cannot happen again. Thankfully, the war did not expand as large as it could have, as the BalCasMed Alliance ruled that it didn’t meet the terms of the Treaty of the Sea and therefore the nations did not join the war, so on the behalf of the entire nation, I would like to thank them for their wise decisions. The Union of the Northern Alliance also voted on the matter, and decided to assist us in the war, we also thank them for supporting us in our fight even thought they didn’t have to.”
Emperor Aaron I said on the matter. The scandal is currently being investigated by the Sprinske Empire and the Mafia Republic. The PDRS also confirmed that they would not join the war minutes before the treaty was signed.
In other news, the Sprinske Empire’s October 2022 General Election will go ahead as planned, the last election was cancelled due to the BDA’s power at that time, but the Prime Minister has confirmed that she will not run for re-election. The election will take place on 1 October 2022, and currently has two political parties: the United Social Democratic Valentia’s Party, a centrist party led by the President of ValeVRG, Jake. The other is the United People of Sprinske, led by King Niall I of Alba Nuadh and is a Social Conservative party.

Great Kolniaric War
Today, 21 September 2022, the Sprinske Empire and Alba Nuadh, two member states of the Kolniaric Union, have declared war on the neighbouring nation, the Mafia Republic, due to a plot to weaken the Sprinske Delta, the shared currency of the Kolniaric Union.
Earlier in the day, Emperor Aaron I conducted an experiment to determine the value of the Sprinske Delta, by asking citizens to value an item in pounds, then giving them Deltas and asking them to pay what they thought the item was worth in Deltas, coming to the conclusion that the Delta has four times the purchasing power of the Pound. During this experiment, he gave the President of the Mafia Republic some money to get the nation up and running, but a few hours later, he was informed by the Sprinske Intelligence Agency that the Mafia Republic was planning to create counterfeit versions of the Sprinske Delta, which would easily weaken the economy of the Kolniaric Union’s nations, and cause an economic disaster. The Sprinske Intelligence Agency did not know that the Emperor had given the President of the Mafia Republic the money, therefore meaning that they were telling the truth.
A few hours after the report, the Sprinske Empire notified their ally, Alba Nuadh, who then declared the war to prevent a full-scale economic collapse of the Delta, immediately followed by the Sprinske Empire itself, and the PDRS is expected to make a decision tomorrow. As the Sprinske Empire is a member of the BalCasMed Alliance, an emergency assembly was called, as the alliance is a military-economic alliance. The Treaty of the Sea dictates that all members must join the war if a member state was attacked, but as the Sprinske Empire declared war on the Mafia Republic first, it did not fall under this category. As a result of this, the alliance did not enter the war, but the governments of the Republic of Dostykstan, Empire of the Kingdom of the Shark and the Republic of Aweland all issued statements on the matter condemning the Mafia Republic for attempting to weaken the currency, but did not join the war. Aweland, however, warned that they would enter if there was any further escalation by the Mafia Republic.
The war is partially an extension of the Second Micronational War on Terror, but it is important to note that the Mafia Republic is not allied with Slivuna or the now-defunct BDA, despite the President of the Mafia Republic being a member of the BDA during the Battle of Yeltsingrad during his time as Prime Minister of the Sprinske Empire.

BDA Surrenders but the War Continues
On 5 September 2022, the Bomb and Destruction Association officially surrendered to the Sprinske Empire. Both sides signed the Treaty of Gorbachevgrad which officially ended the Kolniari Front of the Second Micronational War on Terror, and the BDA has been dissolved. The treaty was also signed by the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske, who have withdrawn from the war as of today. The Sprinske Empire has confirmed that it will remain in the war until all enemies are defeated on all fronts, meaning that Littia, Slivuna and Mootugal must either be defeated or surrender before they leave the war.

Major Victory at the Battle of Yeltsingrad as more nations join the war

Map (After Battle) Today, 29 August 2022, the Sprinske Empire and the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske both began a campaign to push the BDA out of Yeltsingrad and the surrounding parts of North Kolniari. The Battle of Yeltsingrad started early in the day at around 09:00 and was meticulously planned by Emperor Aaron I and Führer Zachary, the initial plan was for the Sprinske Empire’s army to use deception tactics, making the BDA think that the attack would come with a charge directly up the hill, when in reality, they were going to move through the bushes and attack the terrorists from behind, and the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske was going to hit them in the south, and head north to also attack the terrorists from behind, but the battle was very different to what was originally planned.
The Sprinske Empire introduced our new weapon at this battle: the Sting MK1, a medium-ranged easy to produce artillery piece made entirely from elastic and paper, firing a thick paper projectile that would cause a stinging sensation when it hit its target, hence the name. The Sting MK1 was intended to be supplied to the PDRS and to the Sprinske Empire’s army, but all but one of them was left in Rio De Sprinske, so they couldn’t be used effectively in battle. This wasn’t the only setback, however, as the Sprinske Empire’s plan centred around a surprise attack from the bushes, but due to rapid growth, it was now impossible to go get through them, proven later when one of the BDA’s members fell into the bushes and couldn’t get out for about 15 minutes. Due to this setback, they abandoned the original plan and instead were forced to do what the BDA was told they would do: charge up the hill. The single Sting MK1 was put to use, but due to its small size, it got lost in the bushes, leaving the Emperor and another 2 soldiers looking for it for about 15 minutes, when they all eventually just gave up and went back to battle.
About 2 hours later, following a truce so that both sides could have lunch, the BDA commenced a terrorist attack on the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske, with at least seven failed assassination attempts on Führer Zachary, but the PDRS’s army managed to overpower the terrorists and push them back even further. The Sprinske Empire were also making significant progress pushing back the BDA, and were targeting their leader as most of their members had switched sides, even the former Prime Minister, Matteo Catania, who had betrayed the country and joined the BDA a few days prior to the battle. The battle ended in victory for the Sprinske Empire and the PDRS, but the BDA’s leader has made claims that there will be more terrorist attacks to come, and that he has more members. Despite the losses, the BDA seems confident that they will win the war, even with the odds stacked against them.
After the battle, the Emperor addressed the nation and it’s allies as he hadn’t done so in days, and made the following statement:
”A few days ago, the Lihohian Peoples Republic became the fourth member of the Kolniaric Union. They have also joined the Second Micronational War on Terror alongside the Awhana Islands, who both joined the war two days ago. We are also grateful for the supporting nations, the Federal Republic of Early, the Republic of ValeVRG, the Intercontinental Republic of the Americas and the First Empire of Ikerlàndia.”

Emperor announces an ‘Emergency Dictatorship’ after PM joins the BDA
Breaking News –
Prime Minister Matteo Catania has been found trying to overthrow the Emperor and is a member of the Bomb & Destruction Association. On the first day of the war, the Emperor gave the Prime Minister a piece of paper documenting which nations were on which sides of the Second Micronational War on Terror. This piece of paper was then given back to the Emperor the next day by a spy in the terrorist group, meaning that the Prime Minister had joined the terrorist group and was giving them information on the nation, so the Emperor began giving the Prime Minister the wrong information, and on 26 August 2022, he declared an ‘Emergency Dictatorship’ to prevent the traitors within the government from being able to use their powers against the nation. Until 28 August 2022 when the new Prime Minister is elected, the Emperor holds 100% control over the nation, but freedom of speech and other human rights will remain despite the dictatorship. Speaking about the emergency dictatorship, the Emperor said:
”I never wanted to reach a point where using my emergency war powers to prevent the country from being destroyed internally is what needs to be done, but when the second most powerful official in the country is a terrorist and actively plotting against the nation, it is necessary to use these emergency powers to prevent more damage being done to the nation than already has been done. The BDA is trying to recruit government officials and is causing harm to the nation’s government, so the only way to prevent the nation from total collapse is to use my powers and declare an emergency dictatorship to prevent any more abuses of power. Freedom of Speech and other human rights will not be removed because it is a dictatorship, it is not a totalitarian regime, it is a temporary measure, and will end on 28 August 2022 when our new Prime Minister is elected.”
It has also been revealed by spies that the BDA will carry out an attack on both the Sprinske Empire and the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske, and the Emperor has informed the Führer of the PDRS about it, and that one of his generals is also part of the group. In preparations for the battle on Monday, the Emperor has been making weapons for his army, and in accordance with Kolniaric tradition, will lead the nation into battle when the time comes. The battle is expected to be in the cities of Yeltsingrad (Sprinske Empire) and Zocovia (People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske).

The Emperor’s Message to Kaetania and Mootugal, and Updates on War
Sprinske Empire Principality of Kaetania Great Empire of Gamerland Nations that have joined the Second Micronational War on Terror so far On the morning of the 25th of August, 2022, Emperor Aaron I was informed that Kaetania had decided to assist the Sprinske Empire in the Second Micronational War on Terror, and that Mootugal had declared war, the Emperor’s response to Kaetania deciding to join the war was:
“On behalf of the entire nation, I would like to thank Prince Reece I of Kaetania for making the decision to join the war on our side, and for bringing Gamerland into the war as well. We are glad to have these nations on our side to help bring about the end of terrorism, especially in the Micronational community, and we very much appreciate their help.”
He then began to talk about Mootugal and their declaration of war:
“Mootugal has made the decision to declare war, and they have asked us to surrender, but we will never surrender, especially to a terrorist-supporting nation such as that one. We are prepared for war, and will defend our land to the last, Detč ir Sprinske! (English: Glory to Sprinske)”
A few hours later, the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske also decided to declare war. The PDRS is the nation formed from the remains of West Sprinske, but it is a member of the Kolniaric Union along with the Sprinske Empire and Donkrea, and decided to join the war after the terrorist organisation which attacked the Sprinske Empire, which has now been named as the BDA (Bomb & Destruction Association) threatened to also attack that nation. In response, Führer Zachary met with Emperor Aaron to discuss the war, and after about 15 minutes, they came to an agreement that would see the PDRS join the war.
The Emperor also contacted the Prime Minister of the Imperial Republic of Donkrea, but is yet to hear a response. Donkrea has been a nation very prone to micronational terrorism in the past caused by the Gorralic Communist Union, a terrorist organisation that eventually became the nation of West Sprinske. The terrorists have showed no interest in Donkrea at the moment, but it is believed that they will plan something there sooner or later considering the nation’s alliance with Sprinske and history of terrorist attacks.

Second Micro War on Terror
24 August 2022 – Today, after a week of suspicion amongst the government following the Sprinske Civil War officially coming to an end, an unnamed micronational terrorist faction in the north have started attacks such as vandalising the Sprinske Empire’s MicroWiki page and threatening to destroy the government, leading to Emperor Aaron I declaring the Second Micronational War on Terror in response. There is only one known member of the organisation, but the Emperor also declared war on the Taliban who recently took control in Afghanistan and ISIS. The People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske and the Imperial Republic of Donkrea are also expected to join the war and fight against the unnamed terrorist group in Sprinske.
For the last week, the government of the Sprinske Empire have been in chaos after the Former Prime Minister, Masyn Maher, informed the Emperor that the Commander of the Army was planning a coup d’état and was going to blame the Current Prime Minister, Matteo Catania, for the rebellion. The Emperor decided to ask the Commander of the Army who he thought was a traitor, knowing that the Former PM would be right if he said it was the Prime Minister, but the Commander of the Army instead said that it was Masyn Maher. This created a major governmental crisis that lasted for a week until the Emperor told both of them to present their cases against each other, and eventually, it was discovered that there was no coup being planned by either of them, but one of the citizens of the nation vandalised the Sprinske Empire’s MicroWiki page, leading to him being deported from the nation. He then formed a self-declared terrorist organisation in the Sprinske Empire and the People’s Democratic Republic of Sprinske, and threatened to destroy the government. The Emperor then declared the Second Micronational War On Terror in response, also declaring war on the Taliban and ISIS.
